Welcome to City Code Trust ("the Platform"). By accessing our trading portal, paying the annual membership fee, or registering an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Regulatory status
City Code Trust Ltd is registered and licensed by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) of Nigeria as a Broker-Dealer, and is a dealing member of the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX). All brokerage transactions are executed in strict accordance with the rules of the SEC, NGX, and Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS).
2. Annual membership fee & access
- Access to the proprietary trading portal requires an annual membership fee of Ten Thousand Naira (₦10,000.00).
- This fee is processed securely via Paystack and is non-refundable.
- Upon successful payment verification, your login credentials will be generated and dispatched to your registered email address.
- Your subscription grants you a non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Platform for personal or institutional trading for 365 days.
3. Account security & KYC
In compliance with SEC Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations, you must provide accurate, up-to-date Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, including Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number (NIN), and valid proof of address.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any transaction executed under your account is deemed executed by you.
4. Investment risks
You acknowledge that stock trading and capital market investments carry high risks, including the loss of principal.
City Code Trust provides trading tools and wealth insights, but the final decision to trade lies solely with you (unless you are explicitly enrolled in a fully Managed Portfolio plan under an executed Investment Management Agreement).
5. Limitation of liability
City Code Trust, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses resulting from platform downtime, market fluctuations, internet disruptions, or third-party payment processor failures (e.g., Paystack).
